1. WHEN/WHERE WILL THE GAMES BE PLAYED?

Games will be played on Saturday's between 10am and 2pm in Brandon & Friday nights between 6pm - 9pm in Holiday.

2. WHEN WILL PRACTICES BE HELD?

Practices for players will be held at a local city park within your neighborhood (if possible) to make it convenient for parents and coaches. Typically practices are held once a week for an hour. It is up to each individual coach to determine when and where practices will be held. Coaches are encouraged to work with players schedules since many players participate in multiple sports. League facilities will coordinate with coaches in order to accommodate field space if local parks and fields are unavailable.

3. WILL PARTICIPANTS GET TO MEET CURRENT/FORMER NFL PLAYERS?

We are working everyday to get current/former players and coaches scheduled and will post on social media when scheduled. Due to Covid-19 this has currently not been possible.

4. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Brandon - $130

Holiday - $135

The difference is due to the cost associated with field rental fees.

5. CAN YOU REQUEST TEAMMATES?

Yes, you can! Within our registration comments, you are able to request coaches and teammates. If you have any issues please let us know and we will make sure we take care of your requests.

6. HOW MANY PLAYERS WILL BE ON EACH TEAM?

6-9 players on each team

8. HOW LONG IS THE SEASON?

Season is typically 6-8 weeks long, not including playoffs. We also will have a Pro-Bowl weekend with special events to get everyone involved!

9. HOW MUCH WILL MY CHILD PLAY?

Weekly performances during practice will determine the amount of playing time each athlete will receive. No player will sit out for an entire game (unless requested by parents/guardians or due to injuries, etc) but competitive situations may alter amounts week-to-week.

11. WHY SHOULD MY CHILD PLAY IN THE NFL FLAG FOOTBALL OF TAMPA BAY LEAGUE?

With the increase of concussions and head injuries in tackle football Universal Youth Sports Organization and Management, LLC has elected to become a League Organizer for NFL Flag Football giving your child a much safer way to play football. It also will help teach him or her, the fundamentals of the game. Learning to play the game the right way will help your child prevent injuries in the future when they decide to play contact football. No other football leagues will be providing the experience you will receive by having weekly statistics, true Pro-Bowl selections, weekly MVP awards, a catered Subway party for the best league team overall, free uniforms and "swag bags", and the potential to meet current/former NFL players and staff.

12. WHAT ARE THE DIVISIONS?

Divisions may vary based on the number of participants but we try our best to keep the following:

• Pee Wee: Ages 4 -6

• Juniors: Ages 7-8

• Mighty Mite: Ages 9-10

• Freshman: Ages 11-12

• Seniors: Ages 13+

We host a coaches clinic and provide coaches with tools to help them be successful!
